Weekly Update #6 (4/18/15-4/25/15)

Hey everyone! Yet again, this is a day (and one week) late, but it’s here now!

This week, I uploaded five parts of Get to Work! A lot happens in these parts, including Antonio getting married, Lucia getting promoted, and a baby is born. Lucia is definitely feeling a bit “third-wheel-ish,” with her brother starting a family while she’s still single. I think she’s going to wait a little while longer before settling down. Lastly, I uploaded a ten minute build challenge video! This challenge was quite stressful and I kind of failed, but I had fun. You can watch it here:

By the way, I will be uploading more Riot Grrrl this week! I've just really enjoyed playing GTW lately, and I haven’t gotten around to filming RG.

Back to Basics Lipsticks: These lipsticks have just a touch of shine. The colors are also perfect because there are some beautiful nude shades, and some bright, unique shades!

Exciting announcement! I’m going to start a new sims 4 LP soon! But, I do want you guys to help! You can make a some sims and tag it with the hashtag #simsweetielp, and I’ll feature one of your guy’s sims in my let’s play! You can make any kind of family dynamic (i.e. one sim, married couple, dating couple, single parent, family w/h kids, etc). You can also write a backstory for them if you want, but if you don’t, I will write it. Get your entries in ASAP!

Weekly Update #5 (4/4/15-4/11/15)

Hey everyone! I know this is a day late, but better late than never, amirite?

This week, I uploaded three parts of get to work! In these parts, we progress in the doctor career with Lucia. We also open Antonio's bakery! Antonio is becoming interested in Zoe. He certainly wants to start a family soon. Could Zoe be his future wife? Not to mention, Antonio met Kieran (a wealthy business owner) who gave him 50,000 simoleons to build his bakery! You can catch up on these parts here:

Speaking of get to work, I uploaded a speed build of Antonio’s bakery, Perez Sweets! This is the first bakery I’ve built with get to work, and I had a lot of fun doing so! You can watch the video here: 

I also posted a part of my Riot Grrrl LP!  I gave the girls a makeover. To see their new looks, watch here:

Lastly, I posted a part of Han Legacy Challenge! Since the death of Veronica, Amelia decided to move back in to help Ronny raise Katie and Raven. Unfortunately, Sophia also passed away. The family is struggling to deal with this mess. You can watch the part here:

Mash Up (Long Hurr Don’t Curr Retexture) – I adore the colors on this hair so much! It’s the hair that I’m currently using on Vesper. The pastel colors just remind me of a unicorn!

Ooooohhh…Smooth Skin – This skin is absolutely perfect! It’s very reminiscent of the default Maxis skin, but it’s a lot brighter and smoother (hence the name)!

This week I got new channel art! Click here to check out the person who drew my profile picture! I made my banner by myself. I hope you guys like it! I’m currently working on making a new intro!

I absolutely have to talk about this album! I started listening to The Maine's new album, American Candy, and it's fantastic! I literally love every song on that album, but my top three favorites as of now are "English Girls," "Am I Pretty?" and "American Candy." Listen to it by clicking here!

As you guys probably know, the sims 3 does not work very well for me. It lags and crashes all the time. I now many of you really enjoy the Han Legacy Challenge, but it’s honestly really difficult to film. Weekly Update #4 (3/21/15-3/27/15)

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! 

This week I posted two parts of my sims 4 LP. In these two parts, Kasey works on his fishing skill, so we can sell the fish to make simoleons, while Winter plays her guitar for tips. Arianna also breaks up with her boyfriend. You can catch up on these parts here:

Next up, I uploaded a speed renovation on my sims 4 LP house! The house isn't exactly fully furnished, because I ran out of simoleons near the end, but I did what I could. I think the house has definitely been improved upon. You can watch the video here: 

I also posted a CAS video inspired by Lara Jean Song from the book "To All The Boys I've Loved Before." I absolutely loved the book, and while reading it I knew I had to make Lara Jean into a sim! Her features are so unique and her style is so cute. You can watch the video here:

Yesterday, the new patch was released, so I uploaded an overview on it! In the video, I feature some of the new things that come in the free patch. So far, I'm really liking the new content! You can watch the patch overview here:

Nightcrawler Turn It Up Hair Retexture - This hair is so perfect! Sometimes I think the super long CC hairs just look somewhat fake, but this hair is the perfect length.

Floral Lace Skater Skirt - This skirt is part of a set, which I adore, but if you only want to download one thing from the set, this skirt is my favorite!

Weekly Update #3 (3/14/15-3/20/15)

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! I have quite a lot to write about, so let's get started.

First things first (I'm the realest), this week (today actually, for that matter) I uploaded part 17 of my sims 4 LP. In this part, Kasey breaks up with his wife, gets with Winter, and moves in. Yeah, that's a busy day. Anyway, like I've said a million times, I really like Kasey and I think Winter also really likes Kasey. I think their relationship is doing really well. I also posted a two part speed build of an art studio. Basically, it's a really small venue where your sims can go to express their artistic talents and meet others with the same interests. I know I'm not the best builder, but I do really enjoy making speed builds. You can watch part 1 and 2 here:

EA Banging Hairstyle-Ombre Retexture – This is one of my favorite EA hairstyles from TS3, so I’m really excited it’s been converted to the sims 4! I also like the ombre colors!

Yeying Skin – I adore s4model’s skins, and this one is no exception!

Clean Combed + Short Preppy Male Hairs – These hairs are so simple and perfect for any guy sim you might have.

Now that I’ve covered all of the sims-related topics, onto the random things!

Okay, real quick life update time. I’m on spring break! That means I’ll have plenty of time to film and upload! Unfortunately, I’m currently sick. Nothing serious, just a cold, but I am losing my voice, so I can’t really talk right now. Hopefully, I get better soon. I also make a new intro for my videos, so you’ll see that in the next video I post. Lastly, I’m working on a CAS video based on a book, which I'm super excited about! You should be seeing that video either this weekend or early in the upcoming week. Along with that, I will of course be posting more LP parts.

Weekly Update #2 (2/21/15-2/27/15)

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! This was certainly a busy week, therefor I didn't have much time to record, and YouTube kept glitching out (grr). Anyway, onto the videos!

This week, I uploaded two parts of my sims 4 LP. Winter has decided to start working out. Not only to get into shape and live healthier, but it also gives her something to focus on. Undoubtedly, she's going through a tough time in her life. I mean, she is an aspiring musician, single mother of three, struggling to make ends meet. But, Winter is ready to get back out there in the dating game. So, she went on a date with (the goatee-sporting) Casey. Bring out the confetti guns, because today I posted the first part in my sims 4 Riot Grrrl LP! I know I said I was going to start a challenge, but I'm still not 100% sure what challenge I want to do. Anyway, this let's play centers around the story of Kalani Rocha and Vesper Westfall, two young adult females living in Oasis Springs. They met on "tumblr" (or whatever the sims equivalent for that is. Simblr?) and immediately bonded over their love for female empowerment, more specifically the Riot Grrrl movement. If you are unsure what Riot Grrrl is, you can read about it here.  Kalani and Vesper decided to move to Oasis Springs together, which was a major leap of faith. For all they knew, one of them could be a serial killer. Luckily, that's not the case. This let's play will promote female empowerment and self expression. Behr Wall Paint - These paint colors are absolutely perfect for any house! I find myself using them all the time.

[ Berry Sorbet ] Lip Recolours - This lipstick is incredibly well made! Plus I love the berry colors.

Weekly Update #1 (2/14/15-2/20/15)

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog! I hope you all had a fantastic week (although, I can't say I did exactly. Anxiety is annoying). I have a couple things to update you on, so continue reading!

First off, this week I uploaded three new parts of my sims 4 LP. Arianna has aged up to a young adult and is beginning to pursue her career in comedy. Meanwhile, Lane and Livvy aged up to children. Lane is starting to realize the way her style differs from the other girls her age, which is something that makes her feel insecure. On the other hand, Livvy is much more popular and liked among her peers. Perhaps the biggest thing that happened; Winter broke up with Don. Deep down, Winter didn't trust Don. She'd fallen for his good looks and charm, but Winter realizes she's a grown woman with a family who she needs to care for. It's time for her to find someone who will want to settle down with her. After hearing about the breakup, Megan Levine and her husband (Daryl Levine) and son (Walker Levine) decided to move to Willow Creek! If you are not familiar with Megan, she is Tucker and Regina's daughter (making her Winter's cousin) from my All in One LP. Anyway, she moved her family to Willow Creek to be there for her cousin as she goes through this rough time. To top everything off, the family is low on funds. Winter, being an aspiring musician, and Arianna, being an aspiring comedian, aren't making a lot of money and basically take any gig they can take. Will they be able to make it through? Flannel Button Up Shirt - I absolutely love the way this shirt looks on Daryl, and I feel like it suits his personality very well. I think this top is perfect for any 'lumberjack' sims in your gameplay.
Kitty Sweaters for Kids - OH MY GOODNESS. Need I say more? (Although, I haven't had a chance to use these tops yet, they are too cute not to include).
Detailed Ripped Jeans - These jeans are incredible! They are a tight fit with a realistic texture, that are so useful for any outfit!
Brilliant Skin - I adore this skin because it smooths out the lines on the sim's face, while still looking similar to the default texture!

In the upcoming week, I will be starting a new sims 4 LP! I have selected the challenge I want to do, and I'm super excited for it! Stay tuned!
